hello thanks for the reply... when you say it uses bluetooth, it works via bluetooth to communicate to the nearest hub available? so if the Apple tv hub is too far or in basement and i have the sensor on second floor, will that cause issues?
Hey Tarun! Right now Eve's motion sensor doesn't support Thread (forward-looking wireless standard), but I would imagine it's still solid like a lot of Eve products. Their Door & Window is a great option and uses Thread. I would pick Lutron for smart switches. For motion sensors, Aqara or Philips Hue have good ones. Onvis also has a motion sensor that doesn't require a hub but it uses Bluetooth.

How are eve homekit products… ? I am looking for some light switchs and motion/ occupancy sensors.
